This test consists of the following subsections:

Earth Science:

• Astronomy (7 multiple choice; 0 constructed response)
• Dynamic Processes of the Earth (15 multiple choice; 1 constructed response)
• Earth Resources (7 multiple choice; 0 constructed response)

Physics:

• Waves (8 multiple choice; 0 constructed response)
• Forces and Motion (15 multiple choice; 1 constructed response)
• Electricity and Magnetism (6 multiple choice; 0 constructed response)

A note about the question types:

Multiple Choice - This is exactly what it sounds like. You have a question, and four possible answers. You choose which one you think is right.

Constructed Response - In science, this is often a prompt that asks you to create a thoroughly labeled diagram or a description of a process (or both). Check out the practice tests on the CSET website if you want to more.
