- Atmosphere
- Earth's Energy Budget: Inflow and Outflow
- Circulation in the Oceans and Atmosphere
- Climate Variations in Time and Space
- Rock Cycle
- Water, Carbon, and Nitrogen Cycles
- Tectonic Evolution
- Major Economic Earth Resources
- Surface Processes
- Natural Hazards
- Geologic Mapping
Each of these bullet pointed subsections will eventually have a page of its own that will be linked from here.
A note about the question types: There are 50 Multiple Choice questions, and 3 constructed response questions. The CSET guide is not specific about their distribution for the Subtest 3 exams.
Multiple Choice - This is exactly what it sounds like. You have a question, and four possible answers. You choose which one you think is right.
Constructed Response - In science, this is often a prompt that asks you to create a thoroughly labeled diagram or a description of a process (or both). Check out the practice tests on the CSET website if you want to more.
